Housing Committee
- Keith Murphy, Chair
- Trains "testers" for local and regional HUD assessments of fair housing practice.
- Publishes an easy-to-read brochure on fair housing law
- Sponsors a bi-annual fair housing conference for real estate brokers, renters, house buyers
- Arranges exhibits for local libraries during Fair Housing month
Education Committee
- Rev. Robert Kiresat, Chair
- Sponsors the Frederick Douglass program in schools
- Co-sponsors the Wallenberg Honors, a program to recognize young people nominated by their schools to demonstrating acts of courage and compassion and ideals embodied by Raoul Wallenberg.
- Co-Sponsors "What Prejudice Means to Me" essay and poster contest
- Participates in Youth Leadership Training programs
Police & Community Relations Committee
- Morris Plains Police Chief Douglas Scherzer and Charles Lamb, Co-chairs
- Fosters greater understanding between police and community
Community Outreach Committee
- Peggy Carroll, Chair
- Publicizes the work of the Commission
- Promotes community involvement with the Commission
Mediation Committee

- Helps groups and individuals resolve problems stemming from
